Telehealth is therapy for

 everyone

  Everywhere

An office is the most ideal place for therapy sessions, but life is rarely ideal. If coming into the office makes accessing counseling harder for you, telehealth video sessions may be the answer.

Eastlake Community Counseling now offers telehealth video sessions. The telehealth platform is simple to use and provides you the flexibility to access care from the comfort of home.

In order to schedule with Jeff, you should already have set up a TherapyAppointment.com client portal. Once you have scheduled your first session, all you have to do to begin your telehealth video session is log in to your client portal and check your messages. Your Inbox will have a message with the subject line “Telehealth” that contains a reusable link for your telehealth visits. If it is not in your inbox, check your Archived messages. This link will work on any internet-connected device (if using a smartphone, please put it on Do Not Disturb before each call). At the time of your session, just click on that link (or type it into your desired device), then make sure you enter the client's first and last name when prompted, and you'll be ready to go. Faster connections will provide a better user experience (sometimes wi-fi will be faster, sometimes your 4G or 5G connection will be faster).

Insurance will usually cover your telehealth sessions, but you should always check with your insurance provider before scheduling.

Any time you would like to use the telehealth option, be sure to contact Jeff ahead of time to discuss. All sessions will be in-person unless alternate arrangements have been discussed prior to your session.
